Two Face flipped a coin for the first time in 1942. The result: eggs for breakfast.What else was going on in 1942?
- Wonder Woman started showing up in 4 different comics including her own. For years later people would shoot at her bracelets. I’m not sure why people hate her bracelets, they’re kind of cool.
- Comic Cavalcade was a whopping 96 pages and cost only 15 cents. Fan boys complained about that extra 5 cents thinking that DC had drawn a line at 10.
- Star Spangled Comics introduced The Newsboy Legion, a legion of orphans whose legal guardian was The Guardian. Their adventures included going to school taught by The Teacher and teased by a girl known as The Kooty Carrier.
